Whether they are rules that you have been following because someone said so, or rules you’ve created for yourself, you’ll find out here how to change your mindset and find freedom. Gain insights on what will work for you, your physiology, your psychology and your life! My mission is to equip you with the necessary tools to find freedom for yourself and free up the mental energy and time to live out the life you are called to live. If you’re ready to dive in, get honest and learn to trust yourself, you’ve found the right place. Hey there! I’m Tara. A wife, mother, fitness professional and a recovered obsessor of diet and exercise. For most of my adult life I have tried to gain control and change how I look by using diet and exercise. I have fought many years of a lonely, mental battle. I spent years caught in the cycle of depriving and bingeing. I was so exhausted mentally of all the constant thinking of food. When can I eat? What will I eat? Will there be enough to eat? All this coupled with the fact I was trying to exercise my way into losing a certain amount of weight or changing how I looked, I was FINALLY fed up with how I was living. I began working through solutions to trust myself, gain confidence and finally be free from the mental drain I lived with for over 15 years. My faith in Jesus has sustained me through this journey, and I have come out on the other side stronger, more confident and I have so much more mental energy and time to devote to what is really important in my life. If you’ve gotten to the place of “throwing your hands up” and you’re ready to find freedom from the rules of diet & exercise you’ve established in your life…. If you’re ready to learn to trust yourself, find a healthy relationship with food and the workouts that are best for you…. Put your big girl pants on and lay the cookie down. It’s time to be accountable for your time, your life and your calling! To subscribe to my email newsletter, click here: https://bit.ly/3Qbxe00.

I want to gently challenge that belief in today’s episode. The truth is, it has to be about more than just losing weight. Tying your worth to a number on the scale is a game you will never win.
True peace and joy come from understanding your worth, and that begins with knowing who you are in Christ. Your value is not defined by any number, but by the love and purpose He has given you.
Today, I’m offering you 3 empowering tips to help you walk this out and learn what it means to find your true worth and identity in Him, regardless of the scale. It's time to stop measuring your value in pounds and start seeing yourself through the lens of grace. Let’s begin this journey together.

Are you constantly chasing a specific number on the scale, thinking that reaching the weight you were in high school will bring you happiness? Do you find yourself believing that once you hit that number, everything will fall into place, and you'll finally feel content with who you are? It's so easy to get caught up in society's message that achieving a certain weight is the key to fulfillment. But here's the truth: that belief is a lie.
The number on the scale is just that—a number. It doesn't define your worth or happiness. You are so much more than that number, and your value can't be measured in pounds. The real question is: What is this relentless pursuit of a number doing to you, mentally, emotionally, and physically?
It's time to step away from the scale's control and embrace a healthier, more compassionate approach to yourself. Stick with me, and let's uncover the truth together. We'll find the freedom you deserve—one that isn't tied to a number, but to the love and care you give yourself each and every day.
